Last Place Wisdom: Express Edition
I realized that I want to talk about fantasy football more than my bi or tri-weekly Last Place Wisdom column has allowed me to these past couple of years. As the only thing keeping the TFLOEG blog afloat at this point in time, hopefully the rest of the league is of the same feeling and opinion about the need for more fantasy football discussion.
That being said, I'm not entirely sure about the format these other posts are going to take, other than the fact they need to be "Express" posts that I can bang out in less than 30 minutes. The fear I have about doing this is that it cannibalizes the material I use for my typically larger posts, but the upside is it will allow more regular, and hopefully more total volume of writing.

- Trade thought - OJ Howard for Cooks: This trade makes a lot of sense for Clarke, who needed to move talent from TE to other positions. Travis is taking a big risk hoping Howard can break out like he was projected, but I don't hate it from his perspective.
- Trade that should be made: Clarke and Dawson are due to make a trade anytime now. Both have struggled to start the year, and both could be 1-4 after facing tough match-ups again this week. Clarke needs a RB and Dawson is one of the few teams with RBs to spare. I could see some interesting trade possibilities between these two.
- Game of the Week: Clarke and Brett - Brett's been on a roll, while Clarke has struggled due to Hopkins and Beckham only being mediocre, and the aforementioned lack of a 2nd RB. I'm watching to see if Brett should be considered with Shayne for the top of the Power Powell Rankings, and if Clarke is still going to be in the mix for the clear playoff teams.
- Runner-up: Shayne vs Steve - Can anyone hope to stop Shayne right now, and can Steve cement his position as this year's Mike?
- Aaron's Intersting Move of the Week: Last week it was Preston Williams and Dionte Johnson, before then it was McLaurin and Minshew. This week, it's Dawson Knox. It hasn't worked out for him in the wins column, however Aaron's team is far more interesting to me than previous years.
PowerPowell Rankings
This league has been missing something since we lost PowerPowell Rankings, so unless someone else wants to take over I'm going to bring them back. Don't expect me to expand on my thoughts on them, but they're a combination of how I think teams are trending and how comfortable I would be playing that team at the current moment.
- Shayne

- Mike
- Steve
- John
- Dawson
