Last Place Wisdom: A Long Awaited Return

Well it’s been a couple of weeks since the last Last Place Wisdom (or was it a PowerPowell Rankings? It’s easy to get the two mixed up these days), and so I figured I should get something out today. You guys know how it is…work gets busy; lots of stuff being built and people to help, sometimes I miss the days of sitting in an office all by myself, writing long and elaborate fantasy football posts. Then you add the 3 kids on top of it; swimming lessons, music lessons, karate, school activities. If you thought having 2 kids meant you had no time to do anything, 3 kids is on a whole other level. I mean, I can’t remember the last time I went to a movie; the year end movie wrap-up is going to be even more difficult for me to write this year. And TV shows? Forget it, I don’t keep up with any TV shows these days, but that’s alright as I don’t really feel like I’m missing out on much. The occasional sporting event is about all I manage to watch.

Speaking of sporting events, that was quite the Thursday night football game huh? Some insane plays, from Hopkin’s catch, Amendola to Drake restoring John’s full chub, Devante Parker making catches off other receivers and DBs tipping it up. Houston is looking good and Drake is looking good, which helps Dawson and I in a big way for the fantasy season, although at this point it might not be enough.

Well, work’s getting busy here, so it’s time to wrap things up.
