Manager's Meeting 2018
Here are the notes from this year's TFLOEG Manager's Meeting:
1. Rule Changes with voting results:
-IDP Yes or No? IDP passed with a vote of 7-5 (despite Travis bullying Mike into changing his vote over the phone). It is now a canon position.
-Steve's Dynasty Proposal: Was rejected with a vote of 7-5.
-Keith's Ovenmitts Award Proposal: Was passed with a vote of 7-5. Keith will come up with an amendment to the rule for laptop purposes.
-Shayne's Midseason Draft: Was rejected with a vote of 8-4.
-Aaron's "Year Of Jubilee" redraft proposal: Was rejected 8-4, after Travis, Clarke and Mike (over the phone) changed their votes from For to Against.
2. Odds and Ends From Manager's in attendance:
-Draft Date Proposal:
Resolution: August 27, 2018 @ 7:00 PM is the date of the draft. It will be held at Andrew's Office (505 1 St. S.E.). Steak Sandos at The Buckle at 6:00pm.
-Final Clarification of Pocket Player Position:
Resolution: For this year the pocket player is held in the 15 draft slot. Going forward the Pocket Player drafted during the 2018 draft will be held in the 10 draft spot (if chosen to be kept) and with move up a year for each consecutive year like other keepers.
-Huff's First Round Pick Idea: Huff suggested in order to give lower ranked teams access to premium players that only one player with a first round tender can be kept by an owner. For example, Since I am holding on to both Derrick Henry and AJ Green I could only choose one and the other would be sent back to the draftable pool of players.
Resolution: Keith will meditate on it and we'll try to have a more polished version of the rule change to submit at next year's meeting.
3. Draft Lottery

The results of the Draft Lottery were:
1. John will be picking first. (Pick from Stan)
2. Clarke will be picking second. (Pick from Aaron)
3. Brett will be picking third.
4. John will be picking forth. (Pick from Dawson)
