Minutes From The Owner's Meeting

Changes:

1. Look into changing field goal scoring past 50 yards. Progress: Looked into, however cannot be changed.

2. Make our league a "Two QB League". Progress: Passed and changed in roster settings.

3. Add eighth bench spot in order to have enough room for potentially three QBs per team. Progress: Passed and changed in roster settings.

Keeper's Decision:

My plan for keepers was unanimously passed, so the rules are as follows:

1. You can keep UP TO four players from the previous season. For example: you could keep only one, or maybe two, perhaps three or UP TO four. It all depends on how you wish to approach the 2014 draft.

2. Any player that was drafted last year that you plan to keep will count as your pick for this year in the round he was taken in 2013. For example: Julio Jones was taken in the second round last year, as he is my keeper I do not have a second round pick in the 2014 draft.

3. If (due to trades and waiver pick-ups) you have two keepers taken in the same round they will be your pick for that round and the pick prior. For example: If a player was keeping two third round picks it would cost him his second and third round picks in the 2014 draft.

4. The keeper position for drafted player in rounds ten through eighteen is capped as a tenth round picked and ascending for each additional keeper pick taken in rounds ten through eighteen. For example: If you wish to keep an eleventh round pick and a fifteenth round pick it will cost you a ninth and tenth round pick in the 2014 draft.

5. If you choose to keep a player for the season after the upcoming season as well (the 2014 and then 2015 season) the round will move up one round for each season. For example: Jimmy Graham would cost me my third round pick this season (2014 draft), a second round pick next season (2015 draft) and a first round pick the next season (2016 draft).

6. Any player claimed off of waivers the previous season you intended on using as a keeper will count as your seventh round pick in the 2014 draft. For example: I claimed Alshon Jeffrey off of waivers and I intend to keep him as my seventh round pick in the 2014 draft.

7, Each addition waiver added player you decide to keep will be marked as you pick for a round higher. For example: Alshon Jeffrey is already my seventh round pick if I had an additional player claimed off the waiver wire that I wished to keep he would be my sixth round pick in the 2014 draft.

So study those rules carefully because they are now cannon in the bible of TFLOEG.

I AM ASKING THAT ALL OWNERS WHO HAVE NOT PICKED THEIR KEEPER(S) FOR THE UPCOMING SEASON TO DO SO. AS WE WOULD LIKE TO POST A TABLE OF WHICH PICKS HAVE BEEN FORFEITED BY OWNERS AND THE PLAYERS THAT WILL BE UNAVAILABLE FOR SELECTION AT THE 2014 DRAFT.

There has also been talk of changing the draft to either the Friday night or the Monday of the long weekend in order to let Mike Powell see the Arctic Monkeys. Let me know your thoughts.
