Notice of The First Annual Owner's Breakfast Meeting:
Howdy Fellas,
I've been tasked with putting together an owners breakfast to discuss various items pertaining to the league. Obviously for a time frame it would be best to do this before the draft (tentatively the forth weekend in August [23/24]). Thus, I'm thinking that if we had the breakfast on a Saturday in July would suffice. In order to work around scheduling conflicts I think that it would be best to have it earlier in the morning (7am) and then rely on personal nap arrangements for those who need to sleep longer.
If anyone would like to help me by submitting agenda items that are close to your heart, then this will assist with the putting together of an owner's packet/questionnaire that I can e-mail out a few weeks before the breakfast. I will then compile the results before the breakfast in the interest of efficiency and time.Topics will most likely include keepers, point set up and possible addition of roles on teams. We should begin discussions of proposed topics immediately.
This e-mail is meant to be a discussion point and I would appreciate replys and reply alls. If the discussion breaks down I will begin the writing of the questionnaires and plan the owner's breakfast date to the best of my ability based on feedback.
So, in conclusion, answer me these questions three in an email in order to make it easy:
1. Which Saturday in June/July works best for a 7am breakfast?
2. What Topics would you like to see discussed at the meeting?
3. Do you have any interest in becoming an "Assistant to the Commish" in order to prepare materials for the Annual Owner's Breakfast Meeting and/or Draft Day?
Please Respond in a brief e-mail by June 4,2014, no reply will be regarded as full agreement with the actions of those who are taking part in the meeting and packet preparation.
