Two A Days: AFC West Is Certainly Far from the Best

Kansas City Chiefs

Quarterbacks-

Alex Smith (U of Utah)- You won't need him on your team.

Running Backs-

Jamaal Charles (U of Texas)- He's the best player to draft and has top five overall potential at his position. He has injury concerns, but he was solid all of last year despite coming back from an ACL injury.

Wide Receivers-

Dwayne Bowe (U of LS)- Bowe is hardly an attractive player to draft on the big day. But, now that he has a solid guy throwing him the ball he might surprise us. WR2 potential for sure.

Tight Ends-

Anthony Fasano (U of ND)- Aquired in free agency, he had a decent season with rookie qb in Miami last year. May be a sneaky backup TE you can pick up in the late late rounds.

Oakland Raiders

The only one who will be drafted is McFadden and he isn't even a great choice due to O-line issues and injury risks.

San Diego Chargers

Quarterbacks-

Phillip Rivers (U of BY... Wait what do mean NCS?)-

His mechanics are shot, he has no consistent weapons, don't worry about drafting him.

Running Backs-

Ryan Mathews (U of Fresno St.)- He's healthy, for how long I have no idea, but he's looked ok in preseason which is pretty good for Mathews. Middle round pick up if you can snag him, he's the primary back so it could be interesting.

Wide Receivers-

Don't worry about it. Maybe Vincent Brown late.

Tight Ends-

Antonio Gates (U of Kent St.)- He won't live up to years past, but if he falls to you in round 12 and you don't have a TE then why not? You've probably owned the draft if you haven't reached for TE, try grabbing to fliers.

Denver Broncos

Quarterbacks-

Peyton Manning (U of Tennessee)- He hasn't taken that hit everyone was worrying about last year, maybe this year. Or, maybe, he'll just be a top ten QB.

Headaches-

Montee Ball (U of Wisconsin)- He can't pass block, but has upside due to youth and the fact that he could be an every down back.

but,

Ronnie Hillman (U of San Diego St)- He can pass block, but has upside due to light use and the fact that he could be a change-of-pace back.

Jon Fox loves committees, he's the reason Carolina is useless at this position as well. But, Peyton loves having a RB he can trust. I have no idea how this will go.

Wide Receivers-

Demaryius Thomas (U of Georgia Tech)- the clear number one should go by the end of the third round.

Wes Welker (U of Texas Tech)- slot guy has had consistent numbers with Brady, should have good potential with Manning. Mid round pick up.

Eric Decker (U of Minn)- Everyone seems to think his production will be cut by Welker, maybe a little. But, I think he's still a fine WR2.

Tight Ends-

Jacob Tamme (U of Kentucky)- He was inconsistent last year, with the new WR I wouldn't draft him.

Joel Dreeson (U of Col St)- He was hurt and inconsistent last year, with the new WR I wouldn't draft him.
